Trains Collide in Denmark, Critically Injuring Five People

Five people are in critical condition following a train collision Thursday morning near Hillerød, approximately 25 miles north of Copenhagen, Denmark, according to police and fire officials who described the incident as major.

A spokesperson for the North Zealand police confirmed that 38 people were aboard the two trains at the time of the accident, with about a dozen passengers suffering minor injuries in addition to the five critically injured.
