Governor Uzodimma Launches Digital Platform for Renewed Hope Ambassadors

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma unveiled a comprehensive digital platform for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) on Sunday in Abuja, establishing what he described as a verified information hub designed to communicate government policies and counter misinformation about the Tinubu administration.

The launch event, held at the organization’s headquarters in Abuja, featured the debut of the official website (www.rhambassadors.org) alongside an integrated suite of social media channels across Facebook, Instagram, X and other digital platforms.

“This is not just a website; it is a dynamic, living platform, an aggregator of verified information, policy direction, and measurable progress,” Uzodimma explained during the launch. “At its core is an updateable dashboard, providing real-time access to key economic metrics and performance indicators, enabling Nigerians to track, in clear terms, the progress of this administration’s reforms.”

Uzodimma, who serves as the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, emphasized that the platform would translate complex government activities into accessible insights for citizens. These activities include macroeconomic stability measures, revenue growth initiatives, infrastructure delivery projects, and social investment programs currently being implemented by the Tinubu administration.

A key technical component of the initiative is an AI-powered Data Communication Centre operating off-site. This center will focus on intelligence gathering, sentiment tracking, and structured feedback collection while simultaneously working to identify and counter misinformation in real time—a capability that could prove significant in Nigeria’s increasingly polarized information landscape.

“Beyond transparency, this platform is designed as a tool for engagement,” Uzodimma added. “It creates a direct interface between government and citizens, allowing for feedback, participation, and a more informed national conversation around policy and development priorities. It ensures that communication is not one-directional, but interactive and responsive.”

The launch event drew several high-profile attendees, including Senator Atiku Bagudu, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, along with various RHA directors and coordinators. Notable among them were Olisa Metuh (Director of Organization), Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Diaspora Affairs), Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties), Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri (Administration), Sunday Dare (Digital and New Media), and Tunde Rahman (Media and Publicity).

Rahman, who also serves as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Special Duties, issued the statement announcing the launch.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors organization was established in late 2025 as a formal civic engagement arm supporting the Tinubu administration’s communication strategy. According to information on its website, the platform aims to provide coordinated responses to what it describes as false information about the government’s performance record.

This digital initiative comes amid a series of appointments strengthening the RHA’s organizational structure. President Bola Tinubu appointed Uzodimma as “Renewed Hope Ambassador” on November 25, 2025, ahead of the national rollout of the Federal Government’s Ward Development Programme. In this capacity, Uzodimma also serves as Director-General for party outreach, engagement, and mobilization.

In February 2023, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani was appointed as Deputy Director-General for the same functions, shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission released the election timetable scheduling campaigns for November 2026 ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During a forum with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the State House on April 16, President Tinubu affirmed his determination to remain focused on governance despite external pressure. He also used the opportunity to challenge critics and political opponents, particularly former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, criticizing the privatization agenda of the early 2000s as having yielded limited benefits for Nigerians.

As Nigeria navigates complex economic reforms and political transitions, the new digital platform represents an attempt to shape public discourse around government policies in the run-up to the next electoral cycle.
