A Trump-aligned super PAC has amassed nearly $300 million ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, according to Federal Election Commission records filed Thursday. MAGA Inc. reported $294 million in cash on hand, funds the organization says will support candidates who align with President Trump’s policy agenda.

“Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, MAGA Inc will have the resources to help candidates who support President Trump’s America First agenda of securing our border, keeping our streets safe, supercharging our economy, and making life more affordable for all Americans,” a MAGA Inc. spokesperson said in a statement.

The super PAC raised $102 million in the second half of 2025, including 25 separate donations of at least $1 million. The most substantial contribution came from OpenAI president and co-founder Greg Brockman, who donated $25 million in September.

Brockman explained his increased political involvement in a post on X this week, noting that his contributions reflect “support for policies that advance American innovation and constructive dialogue between government and the technology sector.”

What makes the fundraising haul particularly notable is that it comes during a non-presidential election year when Trump himself is not on the ballot, underscoring the super PAC’s strategic focus on building Republican congressional power in the upcoming midterms.

Political analysts point to this as evidence of Trump’s continued influence within the Republican Party. The former president’s ability to attract major donors, even when not directly campaigning, demonstrates his ongoing sway over the party’s fundraising apparatus and policy direction.

MAGA Inc. has already begun deploying resources for the 2026 cycle. In November, the super PAC launched advertisements supporting Republican candidate Matt Van Epps, who received Trump’s endorsement and subsequently defeated Democrat Aftyn Behn in a Tennessee congressional race.

This marks a shift from the organization’s approach during the 2022 midterms, when MAGA Inc. largely conserved its financial resources for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. According to campaign finance tracking organization OpenSecrets, the super PAC ultimately spent $456 million supporting Trump’s successful bid to return to the White House.

The super PAC’s financial strength puts it in a powerful position to influence the composition of Congress in 2026. With control of both chambers potentially at stake, MAGA Inc.’s resources could prove decisive in competitive races across the country.

Other influential figures have indicated potential support for Republican candidates in the upcoming elections. Elon Musk, the billionaire technology entrepreneur who leads SpaceX and Tesla, has signaled openness to backing GOP candidates. “America is toast if the radical left wins,” Musk posted on X on Thursday. “They will open the floodgates to illegal immigration and fraud.”

The midterm elections will serve as a referendum on President Trump’s second term, with the administration seeking to maintain or expand Republican majorities to advance its legislative agenda. Key policy priorities highlighted by MAGA Inc. include border security, economic growth, law enforcement, and addressing inflation.

Campaign finance experts note that super PACs like MAGA Inc. have become increasingly influential in American politics since the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision in 2010, which removed many restrictions on independent political expenditures. These organizations can raise unlimited sums from individuals, corporations, and unions, though they are prohibited from coordinating directly with candidates’ campaigns.

As the 2026 midterm election cycle accelerates, MAGA Inc.’s substantial war chest positions it to be a dominant force in shaping both the Republican Party’s candidate selection process and the broader electoral landscape.
