First Lady Melania Trump remained “in full control” during the chaotic moments after an armed suspect attempted to infiltrate the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner last Saturday, according to her senior advisor Marc Beckman.

Hence, the expression. Coupled with literally Secret Service charging through the center of the room,” he said.
Following the evacuation from the dinner, the first lady joined her husband and administration officials in the White House briefing room. During a White House educational event with students on Tuesday, Mrs. Trump told reporters she was doing “very well” following the incident.
Beckman emphasized that the first lady shares her husband’s positive assessment of how the Secret Service handled the situation. “The Secret Service is of very great value to the first lady. She holds them out with the highest level of respect,” he said. “They’ve done a tremendous job time and time again.”
The senior advisor added that Melania Trump maintains “a tremendous amount of respect for the Secret Service, the military and beyond,” acknowledging the inherent risks associated with being a member of the first family.
