Congressional Republican Leaders Express Condolences Following Rob and Michele Reiner’s Deaths

Senate Majority Leader John Thune and House Speaker Mike Johnson have joined the outpouring of condolences following the deaths of acclaimed Hollywood director Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, 68, in what police are investigating as a homicide.

“Well, that whole incident, episode, is a tragedy, and my sympathies and prayers go out to their family and their friends,” Thune said in remarks to the press.
