Collin Gosselin Intensifies Allegations Against Mother Kate, Citing Childhood Abuse

Collin Gosselin, now 21, has renewed his allegations against his estranged mother Kate Gosselin, claiming the reality TV show that made his family famous concealed disturbing realities about his upbringing.

In an emotional Instagram Story post on Tuesday, Collin addressed critics who have challenged his previous statements, writing: “Late nights like this I often think about how so many people are still upset that show they watched for years portrayed a false narrative, while hiding so many dark secrets.”

The young man, who rose to fame as a child on “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” directly confronted his detractors, stating that regardless of what negative comments he receives, he will “never stop advocating for scapegoated children and abused children.”

His accusations were specific and troubling. “I remember when my mom would send my siblings off to school every day and then put her hands on me and drive scarring words into my head,” Collin wrote. “I remember how I had to pretend like everything was fine once my siblings returned home.”

Kate Gosselin, 50, has not issued a detailed response to these recent allegations. When previously questioned on social media about Collin’s claims, she reportedly replied only, “He knows why,” without further elaboration. Us Weekly has reached out to Kate for comment on the latest statements.

The Gosselin family became household names through their reality show, which documented the lives of Kate and Jon Gosselin as they raised twins Mady and Cara, now 25, and sextuplets Collin, Aaden, Joel, Leah, Hannah, and Alexis, all 21. In a controversial decision that would permanently alter family dynamics, Kate had Collin institutionalized for what she described as behavioral issues—claims that both Collin and his father Jon, 48, have consistently denied. Jon later gained custody of Collin, who now has minimal contact with his mother.

In August, Collin shared an emotional TikTok post lamenting the separation from his siblings: “Born to be a team, us against the world.
