DOJ: Letter Attributed to Jeffrey Epstein in Nassar Case Deemed Fraudulent

In a startling revelation, newly released Justice Department files have uncovered a previously unknown connection between convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Larry Nassar. The documents, made public on Tuesday, December 23, include a handwritten note from Epstein addressed to someone identified only as “L.N.,” widely believed to be former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.

The correspondence, which appears to have been written shortly before Epstein’s death in 2019, begins with an ominous reference to taking “the short route home,” seemingly alluding to Epstein’s intention to end his life while in federal custody awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

No prior relationship between Epstein, a wealthy financier who was connected to numerous powerful individuals, and Nassar, the disgraced former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University doctor, had been publicly documented until now. This connection between two of the most notorious sex offenders in recent American history raises new questions about potential networks of abuse.

The note contains disturbing content in which Epstein suggests he and the recipient shared “love and caring for young ladies and the hope they’d reach their full potential.” This troubling language appears to be Epstein’s attempt to normalize the predatory behavior that led to both men’s incarcerations.

Nassar is currently serving what amounts to a life sentence after being convicted of sexually abusing hundreds of young female athletes under the guise of medical treatment. His victims included numerous Olympic gymnasts and other athletes who were under his care.

The letter also makes a controversial reference to then-President Donald Trump, claiming he “shares our love of young, nubile girls” and was known to “grab snatch” when “a young beauty walked by.” This language echoes the infamous Access Hollywood recording that surfaced during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, though it takes the comments in an even more disturbing direction.

While Trump had previously been photographed with Epstein at social events in the 1990s and early 2000s, the former president has consistently denied any knowledge of or involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities. The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment on this newly released correspondence.
