Additionally, a California winery called ESTCRU LLC, which first appeared on Omar’s disclosure reports in 2020, was valued between $1 million and $5 million in 2024. The previous year, the same business was evaluated at just $15,000 to $50,000.
Omar has publicly denied being a millionaire, posting on social media platform X earlier this year that she “barely” has thousands, let alone “millions.” She has suggested that the investigation is politically motivated.
During his remarks, Trump broadened his criticism to include Minnesota’s Somali community, claiming without evidence that “$19 billion, at a minimum, is missing in Minnesota, given to a large degree, but, by Somalians – they’ve taken it.”
The president’s comments came as part of a briefing where he touted his administration’s achievements approximately one year into his second term. He highlighted immigration enforcement efforts in Minnesota, where federal authorities have reportedly arrested thousands of individuals.
