A man has been charged with attempting to assassinate Russell Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, as Democratic lawmakers face questions about their past rhetoric toward the Trump administration official.
Federal authorities arrested 26-year-old Colin Demarco after he allegedly arrived at Vought’s Arlington, Virginia residence on August 10 armed with a concealed weapon, wearing a surgical mask and rubber gloves.
