In a move that blends patriotism with automotive craftsmanship, General Motors’ Chevrolet has unveiled its new “Stars and Steel” collection to commemorate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary. The special lineup features American-made vehicles with distinctive patriotic design elements and includes a highly anticipated charity auction.

The collection spans five Chevrolet vehicle models from the 2026 lineup—the Corvette, Silverado EV, Silverado LD, Silverado HD, and Colorado—all manufactured in the United States with globally sourced components. Each vehicle in the collection showcases dark, metallic finishes intended to symbolize American craftsmanship and patriotic values.

At the heart of the collection is a unique “one of one” 2026 Corvette ZR1X featuring exclusive “Stars and Steel” design elements. This singular vehicle is scheduled to cross the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Winter Auction on January 24, 2026. The entire proceeds from the auction will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a veterans’ advocacy organization that builds homes for families of first responders and military personnel killed in the line of duty.

The public will get its first glimpse of the “Stars and Steel” fleet this weekend at the Army-Navy football game in Baltimore, Maryland, highlighting Chevrolet’s timing of the announcement to coincide with this traditional celebration of service and patriotism.

Beyond the one-of-a-kind auction model, Chevrolet will produce a limited series of just 250 Corvettes as part of the collection. These exclusive vehicles will be available across all Corvette variants, from the Stingray to the ZR1X, in both coupe and convertible configurations, though only in premium 3LT/3LZ trim levels.

Buyers of these limited-edition Corvettes can choose between two color schemes: Arctic White with a Santorini Blue interior or black with an Adrenaline Red interior. Each vehicle features distinctive design elements including American flag-inspired full-length stripes in satin silver or black, “250” flag graphics on doors and spoiler ends, unique sill plates, and interior plaques displaying build sequence numbers. Additional details include model-dependent wheel finishes and patriotic red accents throughout the interior.

“The Stars & Steel Collection celebrates a key milestone for the country that not only served as the birthplace of our brand but has also been its home for nearly 115 years,” said Scott Bell, vice president of Global Chevrolet. “Each vehicle in this collection is proudly assembled in the United States and honors the rich legacy of our nation.”

Production of the collection is slated to begin in early spring 2026, with pricing details to be announced at a later date. Extending its commitment to American service members, Chevrolet will donate $250 to veterans’ support organizations for each vehicle sold from the collection.

This automotive celebration aligns with broader national preparations for America’s semiquincentennial. In January, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order establishing a White House task force dedicated to planning and coordinating celebrations for the country’s 250th anniversary. The White House has indicated it will collaborate with federal, state, and local governments, as well as private sector entities, nonprofits, and educational institutions to organize events honoring America’s heritage leading up to 2026.

The nationwide anniversary celebrations will feature various events across the country, including a UFC event scheduled to take place on the White House South Lawn on June 14, 2026—coincidentally President Trump’s 80th birthday.

Chevrolet’s “Stars and Steel” collection represents a significant marketing initiative that intertwines automotive innovation with patriotic sentiment during this historic national milestone, while also supporting veteran causes through its charitable components.
