The nine-member group, currently on their “THIS IS FOR” World Tour, shared insights on their evolution, creative process, and future aspirations during an exclusive interview with Associated Press entertainment journalist Liam McEwan.

The group—composed of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu—has reached a significant milestone with their anniversary release “TEN: The Story Goes On,” which marks a creative breakthrough for the ensemble. For the first time in their extensive discography, the album features solo tracks from each member, showcasing their individual artistry while maintaining the cohesive group identity that fans have embraced worldwide.

“After ten years, we’re still discovering new aspects of ourselves as artists,” said Jihyo, the group’s leader. “There’s so much more we can do, both together and individually. This album represents that growth.”

“Our group chat is always active,” Dahyun explained with a smile. “Sometimes the best ideas come at 3 AM when someone can’t sleep and suddenly has a vision for our next concept.”

Several members have already ventured into solo work, with Nayeon, Jihyo, and most recently Chaeyoung releasing individual projects to critical acclaim.

“We support each other’s individual growth because it ultimately strengthens TWICE,” Mina reflected. “When one of us explores something new, we all learn from that experience.”

“Ten years ago, we couldn’t have imagined where this journey would take us,” Tzuyu, the group’s youngest member, observed. “Now we’re dreaming even bigger for what comes next.”
