“We need to have transportation because without them, what do we do? The transit agency has also moved to counter misinformation circulating on social media regarding the qualifications of replacement drivers. In a statement, El Metro officials emphasized that all operators currently driving fixed-route buses possess valid Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL) and have completed the full training program required to safely transport passengers.
