Kansas City Chiefs’ Mike Pennel Jr. has publicly accused social media personality Jhonni Blaze of attempting to extort him with what he describes as fabricated claims of domestic violence and a false pregnancy. The defensive tackle took to Instagram to counter allegations that have been circulating online, transforming what might have remained a private dispute into a public confrontation.

“She tried to extort me so many times. Fake pregnancy, fake domestic violence. All for money,” Pennel wrote in a series of Instagram Stories on Saturday, directly tagging Blaze’s account. In a separate post, he added, “You crashing out because I won’t let you extort me??? Mental health is real. Somebody save her…”

The public dispute erupted after Blaze, who has gained notoriety through appearances in music videos and maintains a substantial social media following under the handle @bigjhonni, made several serious allegations against Pennel earlier this week. She claimed the NFL player had subjected her to verbal abuse and infidelity, and alleged his conduct had resulted in her mother’s hospitalization.

According to Blaze, she and Pennel had been in a relationship since March of last year. She stated she possessed approximately 15,000 messages documenting their interactions and claimed she had remained silent for two years to protect his reputation before deciding to make her allegations public.

Pennel’s response was both immediate and detailed. The defensive tackle, who has been a key rotational player on the Chiefs’ Super Bowl-winning defensive line, alleged that Blaze had ignored a restraining order he had obtained against her and had avoided being formally served with legal documents. He also claimed she dismissed a cease and desist letter from his legal representation.

To support his extortion claims, Pennel shared screenshots of what appeared to be PayPal requests from Blaze, showing amounts ranging from relatively small sums to demands as high as $50,000. He characterized the situation as an “ongoing harassment scheme” orchestrated against him.

Blaze countered by denying the existence of any restraining order and doubled down on her accusations. She subsequently shared what she described as evidence, including alleged OnlyFans activity showing Pennel as a subscriber who had sent her money. The confrontation escalated further when Blaze reportedly leaked Pennel’s phone numbers online.

The Chiefs defender responded with additional video posts and messages, promising that “EVERYTHING will be revealed… PUBLICLY,” and accused Blaze of tagging him in a “fake story for a month” while evading legal service.

The controversy comes at a time when NFL players’ off-field conduct faces increasing scrutiny from both the league and public. The NFL has implemented stronger policies regarding domestic violence allegations in recent years, though as of Saturday evening, the league had not issued any statement regarding the situation.

No criminal charges have been filed against either party as of this reporting. Without formal legal proceedings or official NFL involvement, the dispute remains largely confined to social media, where both parties continue to present competing narratives and claim to possess evidence supporting their respective positions.

The Chiefs organization, which has dealt with player conduct issues in the past, has also remained silent on the matter. Pennel, 33, has been a valuable contributor to Kansas City’s defensive line rotation during their recent championship runs.

As the situation continues to develop, it highlights the increasingly blurred lines between athletes’ private lives and public personas in an era where social media provides immediate platforms for both allegations and rebuttals outside traditional media channels or legal venues.
