According to the complaint, certain individuals have been circulating false claims on various social media platforms alleging that several film actresses were included in the Jubilee Hills electoral rolls with altered addresses, modified photographs, and invalid EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) numbers.
In response, authorities have registered a case (Cr. No. 686/2025) under sections 336(4) and 353(1)(C) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which replaced the Indian Penal Code last year.
