Disturbing Video Falsely Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Files Revealed as Horror Fiction

Social media users have been sharing a disturbing video clip showing a pregnant woman locked in a cage and pleading for help, claiming it originates from the recently released “Epstein Files.” An investigation by fact-checking organization Vishvas News has conclusively determined this claim to be false.

The video, which began circulating widely in early February, shows distressing footage of what appears to be a pregnant woman in captivity. Many users shared it with captions suggesting it revealed evidence of “pregnant minors treated like animals” in connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s case.

However, a thorough investigation traced the footage to its actual source: a fictional horror video produced by the YouTube channel “Life of Luxury.” The video, titled “It Crawled Into Her Bed at Night…” was uploaded on April 5, 2025, and is clearly labeled as content created for entertainment purposes.

When contacted by fact-checkers, representatives from the “Life of Luxury” channel confirmed that the footage was part of their fictional horror series and expressed concern that their content was being misappropriated and shared without proper context or attribution. The channel’s administrator indicated they would take action regarding the unauthorized use of their material.

The viral clip specifically comprises scenes from two segments of the original YouTube video, occurring between the 0:28-0:40 and 12:08-13:00 minute marks. The narrative follows fictional characters named Parker and Chester investigating mysterious disappearances in an abandoned house – a far cry from the serious allegations being made in social media posts.

This misleading claim emerges amid heightened public interest in the Epstein case following the U.S. Department of Justice’s release of millions of pages of documents, videos, and photos related to their investigation of Jeffrey Epstein. The convicted sex offender died in 2019, but the ongoing revelations from his case files continue to generate significant discussion and speculation worldwide.

The incident highlights a troubling pattern of misinformation surrounding high-profile cases, where fictional content is deceptively presented as evidence or documentation of real events. Such false attributions can contribute to confusion about actual evidence and potentially undermine legitimate investigations.

The Facebook user who initially shared the viral video with the false Epstein connection has over 6,000 followers, demonstrating how quickly such misinformation can spread through social networks. The post was shared on February 9, 2026, gaining significant traction before fact-checkers could verify its authenticity.

Media literacy experts emphasize the importance of verifying claims before sharing potentially inflammatory content, especially when it pertains to ongoing legal cases or investigations. The ease with which digital content can be manipulated or presented out of context makes critical evaluation of sources increasingly important.

The U.S. Department of Justice has indeed released substantial documentation regarding Epstein’s criminal activities, including evidence involving numerous influential figures. However, the viral cage footage has no connection whatsoever to these official releases.

This incident serves as a reminder of the need for caution when consuming information online, particularly regarding sensitive cases that generate significant public interest and emotional responses.

It’s good that the authorities were able to trace the origins of this video and confirm it was not related to the Epstein case. However, the initial spread of this misinformation is still troubling and points to broader issues around online content verification.
