The couple, who have been making headlines with their high-profile relationship, celebrated the joyous occasion with a party in Florida.”

The fabricated news quickly spread across multiple social media platforms, with thousands of users sharing and commenting on the false announcement. Some posts linked to advertisement-heavy websites with expanded versions of the fictional story.

Digital forensics experts have confirmed the image’s artificial origin. AI-detection software from Hive determined the image to be “100% AI-generated,” noting telltale signs of artificial creation including significant blurring and anatomical inconsistencies, such as Swift’s disproportionately large hand.

Earlier versions of the image, particularly those from March 2025, contained a visible watermark indicating it was created using Grok’s AI image generation service. In more recent iterations, this identifying marker has been deliberately cropped out to make the image appear more authentic.

The Facebook account responsible for popularizing the recent wave of misinformation, USA Pulse Today, has a documented history of publishing fabricated celebrity stories. The page frequently uses AI-generated content to attract engagement through shares and comments. Earlier this year, the same account spread false claims about talk show host Stephen Colbert and his wife supposedly adopting a child orphaned by Texas floods.

This pattern of celebrity pregnancy hoaxes is not unique to Swift and Kelce. False pregnancy announcements using AI-generated imagery have become increasingly common in the celebrity news ecosystem, often designed to generate clicks and engagement on social media platforms.

Despite the widespread circulation of the rumor, no credible news outlets have reported on any pregnancy announcement from Swift or Kelce. Searches across major news platforms yield only fact-checks debunking the claim, rather than legitimate reporting on such an announcement.
